A hydraulic compact excavator or mini excavator has tracks or wheels and weighs between 0.7 and 7.5 tonnes. The mini excavator consists of a regular backfill blade with an autonomous boom swing. It differs from other heavy equipment in such a way that all the movements and functions of this machine, particularly its working group and blade, are responsible for the transfer of hydraulic fluid into hydraulic cylinders. Smaller or larger styles can come with the Dragline Excavator. In civil engineering, smaller types are used for road and port building. While the larger types are used to transfer overburden above coal and for tar-sand mining in strip-mining. Draglines usually weigh about 2000 metric tonnes, but larger draglines weighing 13,000 metric tonnes are also available. The dragline bucket system has a large bucket suspended from a large truss-like structure called a boom with wire ropes. This bucket is manoeuvred by ropes and chains and held by a rope hoist (whose power comes from large diesel or electric motors). The dragrope is responsible for a horizontal fashion for carrying and drawing the bucket assembly.
